The due date for Assignment #1 has been pushed back by two days. New due date is Wednesday, Sep 27th, before midnight (for full points). Late submission policy applies per the syllabus.

All material from the first two weeks of classes, plus the solutions for Friday's recitation have been posted at tophat.com. Additional material has been posted under Class Notes.

Web site for Fall 2017 semester is live.

The web site for the Fall 2017 semester is now live at http://cs1656.org. A notable change from prior years is the use of the TopHat system. We will use TopHat for

• collecting student responses for in-class activities, and
• sharing slides and other lecture/recitation/assignment material.

Final Exam + Office Hours

The final exam will be on Tuesday, April 25th at noon in room 5129 in the Sennott Square Building.

Also, the instructor will have office hours during finals week as follows:
* MONDAY: 3:00 - 5:00pm

* TUESDAY: 4:00 - 5:00pm

* WEDNESDAY: 3:00 - 5:00pm
